Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden - Another Story #1

Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden - Another Story #1 was published as part of the expansion of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise, specifically serving as a manga adaptation of the mobile game's alternate perspective narrative. It was crafted to provide depth to the game's complex timeline by focusing on the experiences of different magical girls within the city of Kamihama, shifting the primary narrative focus away from the original television series cast while maintaining the series' signature dark, psychological tone.

The illustrations for this series are credited to Fuji Fuji Choko, whose artistic direction emphasizes the intricate, gothic-inspired aesthetic established by the original anime studio, Shaft. The manga was received by the community as a vital piece of the franchise's world-building, appreciated for its ability to balance the expansive character roster of the mobile game with the atmospheric storytelling that defined the original 2011 production.
