Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden #9

Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden began as a mobile role-playing game developed by f4samurai and published by Aniplex in 2017. As a spin-off of the highly influential 2011 anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica, it expanded the franchise's dark fantasy world by introducing a new cast of magical girls in the city of Kamihama. The series was quickly adapted into a manga version serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward, illustrated by artist Fuji Fuji, who translated the complex character designs and aesthetic motifs of the original series into a sequential narrative format.

This ninth volume serves as a key installment in the manga adaptation, continuing the expansion of the game's original storyline while maintaining the distinctive visual language established by the character designer Ume Aoki. The manga was received by the fan base as a faithful extension of the source material, capturing the blend of surreal horror and traditional magical girl archetypes. It reflects the broader multimedia strategy of the franchise, which sought to maintain long-term engagement through interconnected narratives across gaming, television animation, and print media.
