Mahō Shōjo Homura☆Tamura: Heikō Sekai ga Itsumo Heikō de Aru to wa Kagiranai Noda. #1

Mahō Shōjo Homura☆Tamura: Heikō Sekai ga Itsumo Heikō de Aru to wa Kagiranai Noda, often referred to simply as Homura☆Tamura, is a comedic spin-off manga series based on the critically acclaimed anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Debuting in 2013, the series was serialized in Manga Time Kirara Magica, a publication dedicated entirely to the franchise. This work emerged as a lighthearted departure from the dark, psychological themes of the original anime, focusing instead on absurdist humor and situational comedy within the familiar framework of the series' multiverse.

The manga was written and illustrated by the artist Afro, who sought to deconstruct the tragic nature of the main characters by placing them in repetitive, nonsensical parallel worlds. By emphasizing Homura Akemi's desperate mission through a lens of comedic failure and repetition, Afro provided a satirical commentary on the 'magical girl' genre tropes. The series was well-received by fans of the franchise who appreciated the tonal shift, eventually spanning several collected volumes and securing its place as a notable entry in the broader Puella Magi Madoka Magica expanded media catalog.
