Mainichi Ie ni kuru Gal ga Kyorikan Zero Demo Yasashikunai #1

Mainichi Ie ni kuru Gal ga Kyorikan Zero Demo Yasashikunai, translated as The Gal Who Comes to My House Every Day Isn't Kind Even Though She Has Zero Distance, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by the artist known as Rintaro. It originated as a web-based serial on platforms like Pixiv and Twitter before being collected into tankobon volumes. The work fits into the popular rom-com subgenre that emphasizes exaggerated character dynamics and the 'gal' archetype, focusing on the awkward yet intimate interactions between the protagonist and a classmate who habitually visits his home.

Rintaro's design for the series leans into the vibrant, character-focused aesthetic common in contemporary digital manga. The first volume establishes the series' core premise, blending slice-of-life comedy with the tension of the 'zero distance' trope. Upon its physical release, the manga was received as a lighthearted contribution to the social media-driven manga trend, appealing to readers who enjoy character-driven stories centered on rapid-fire dialogue and visual gags.
