Nana 25th Anniversary Edition #5

The Nana 25th Anniversary Edition series was released to celebrate the quarter-century milestone of Ai Yazawa’s seminal shojo manga, which originally premiered in 1999. This commemorative run features updated cover art and high-quality production values designed to honor the series' significant cultural legacy and its enduring influence on fashion, music, and contemporary Japanese storytelling. The fifth volume continues the narrative of the two titular protagonists, Nana Komatsu and Nana Osaki, whose intersecting lives in Tokyo have become a defining hallmark of modern manga.

Ai Yazawa herself oversaw the aesthetic direction for these anniversary editions, reflecting her meticulous eye for detail and high-fashion sensibilities. The series has been received as a definitive collector's item for fans who cherish the emotional depth and gritty, realistic portrayal of young adulthood found within the original chapters. By re-releasing the series with fresh artistic presentation, the publisher aims to bridge the gap between long-term devotees of the 2000s era and new readers discovering the emotional complexity of the series for the first time.
