Power Pack #52

Power Pack #52, published in January 1990 by Marvel Comics, represents the later era of the series created by Louise Simonson. The title focused on the adventures of the four Power children, who gained superhuman abilities from an alien encounter. By the time this issue was released, the series had established a unique niche for its blend of suburban family dynamics and intergalactic stakes, often balancing lighthearted moments with mature themes that resonated with both younger readers and older collectors of the Bronze and Copper Ages of comics.

The issue features art by Jon Bogdanove, a long-time collaborator on the series who helped define the kinetic, expressive visual style associated with the Power siblings. As one of the later entries in the original run, the issue reflects the series' ongoing attempt to maintain its identity during a period of significant shifts within the broader Marvel landscape. It remains a notable piece for collectors interested in late eighties Marvel storytelling, serving as an example of the publisher’s commitment to experimental, character-driven team books during that period.
