Sakamoto Days #21

Sakamoto Days, created by Yuto Suzuki, began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in late 2020. The series follows Taro Sakamoto, a legendary retired hitman who adopts a quiet life as a convenience store owner, only to find himself repeatedly pulled back into the underworld. The narrative is noted for its fluid, cinematic action sequences and a distinct blend of deadpan humor with high-stakes combat choreography.

Issue 21 functions as a chapter installment within the larger volumes of the series. Yuto Suzuki’s design for the series is defined by a heavy reliance on dynamic movement, often using unconventional environments to stage intense brawls. Since its inception, the series has been well-received by readers for its technical approach to manga action, helping it establish a firm standing as one of the prominent action titles currently running in the Shonen Jump stable.
