Sengoku Komachi Kurōtan #6

Sengoku Komachi Kurōtan, also known as Oda Nobunaga's Modern Agriculturalist, began as a web novel by Kyōichi before being adapted into a manga series illustrated by Warau Yakkai. This sixth volume continues the narrative of Shizuko, a modern high school girl transported to the Sengoku period, where she uses her knowledge of modern agriculture and chemistry to aid Oda Nobunaga in unifying Japan. The series is part of the genre of historical isekai, blending rigorous technical detail regarding crop management and logistics with the high-stakes political intrigue of the 16th century.

The character design and visual tone established by Yakkai focus on contrasting Shizuko’s contemporary practical expertise with the gritty, grounded aesthetic of the Sengoku era. This volume maintains the series' reputation for combining educational elements of agrarian history with standard manga storytelling pacing. It was well-received by audiences interested in unconventional takes on the time-slip narrative, often noted for its departure from traditional combat-focused historical manga in favor of highlighting the logistical and developmental foundations of state-building.
