Sonic the Hedgehog: The IDW Collection #6

The IDW Collection series was conceived as a premium, oversized hardcover initiative to chronicle the long-running Sonic the Hedgehog comic book continuity published by IDW Publishing. Volume 6 serves as a significant narrative milestone, collecting issues #33 through #40, which primarily cover the conclusion of the 'Bad Guys' miniseries and the conclusion of the 'Chao Races and Badnik Bases' storyline. These issues represent the continued effort to weave a cohesive, character-driven epic that balances the franchise's traditional high-speed aesthetic with deeper, serialized world-building.

The design of this volume follows the established standard of the IDW library line, prioritizing a sleek, archival-ready presentation that caters to collectors. The series features contributions from various writers and artists—including Evan Stanley and Adam Bryce Thomas—who were tasked with maintaining the vibrant, kinetic visual language established by the Sega source material while expanding the lore with new characters and threats. Upon release, this specific collection was praised by readers for its sturdy binding and for providing a comprehensive, uninterrupted reading experience of one of the series' more intense story arcs.
