Street Fighter Masters: Ken #1

Released in 2023 as part of Udon Entertainment's Street Fighter Masters one-shot series, this issue serves as a dedicated character study of Ken Masters. The series was developed to provide deeper narrative focus on individual fighters within the established Street Fighter canon, bridging gaps between major tournament events. Udon, which has held the license for Street Fighter comics for nearly two decades, intended this issue to reflect Ken's evolving identity during the post-Street Fighter V era.

The interior art was provided by artist Ryan Kinnaird and writer Ken Siu-Chong, who aimed to balance high-energy combat sequences with the internal emotional conflict defined by the character's status as a fugitive. The issue follows the house style of Udon's long-running comic continuity, emphasizing dynamic, manga-influenced line work that remains faithful to Capcom's character models. It was received as a standard expansion of the publisher's expanded universe, catering primarily to long-time readers of the Udon-published Street Fighter storylines.
