Super Psychic Policeman Chojo #4

Super Psychic Policeman Chojo, known in Japan as Chōjō Keisatsu Chōjō, was a manga series authored by Hirohiko Araki that appeared in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1986. The series followed a psychic police officer tasked with solving supernatural crimes, reflecting the era's fascination with urban fantasy and shonen action tropes. Araki developed this work shortly before achieving worldwide fame with his long-running JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise.

The fourth issue of this serialized work serves as a window into Araki's early aesthetic, which leaned heavily into the distinctive character designs and kinetic paneling that would later define his signature style. While the series was relatively short-lived compared to his later endeavors, it is often studied by collectors and historians of manga as a critical developmental stepping stone for the artist's evolution in narrative composition and visual storytelling.
