Super-Villain Team-Up #13

Super-Villain Team-Up #13 was published by Marvel Comics in 1977 as part of a series that explored the uneasy and often volatile alliances between the publisher's most prominent antagonists. During this era, Marvel frequently utilized such titles to experiment with character dynamics outside of traditional hero-centric narratives, placing figures like Doctor Doom and Magneto at the forefront of the storytelling.

The issue features artwork and narrative direction consistent with the house style of the mid-1970s, characterized by the collaborative efforts of various editorial teams attempting to maintain momentum for the title during a period of shifting creative control. It reflects a specific moment in bronze-age comics history where the depth and internal motivations of villainous characters began to receive greater narrative focus, moving away from simple adversarial tropes toward more complex, serialized intrigue.
