Team Rafale #10

Team Rafale is a long-running French aviation comic series created by writer Frédéric Zumbiehl and primarily illustrated by Matthieu Durand. The series debuted in the mid-2000s under the Zéphyr Éditions banner, a publishing house specializing in aeronautical graphic novels. These stories were developed with a strong emphasis on technical realism, often featuring the Dassault Rafale fighter jet in various geopolitical conflict scenarios that reflect the operational capabilities of the French Air and Space Force.

Issue number 10, titled 'Opération Sabre', continues the series' tradition of blending precise military hardware depictions with contemporary thriller tropes. Zumbiehl, who has a background in military aviation, crafted the narrative to maintain an authentic procedural feel, while Durand’s artwork is lauded for its dynamic depiction of aerial combat maneuvers. The series has been well-received by enthusiasts of aviation history and modern military technology, serving as both entertainment and a tribute to the Dassault Rafale's engineering.
