Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Battle Nexus #3

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Battle Nexus was a four-issue limited series published by Dreamwave Productions in 2004. Released during a period of renewed interest in the franchise following the debut of the 2003 animated series, the comic was designed to bridge specific narrative elements from the television show’s second season. It serves as an extension of the 'Battle Nexus' tournament arc, featuring the Turtles competing in a multiversal martial arts contest.

The series was written by Adam Archer and illustrated by various artists associated with the Dreamwave house style, which emphasized dynamic, stylized action sequences typical of the mid-2000s comic aesthetic. As with many licensed titles from the era, the series was produced to capitalize on the popularity of the animated property. While it provided fans of the 2003 series with additional context for the tournament, the title is largely remembered as a niche artifact of the broader Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expanded media universe.
