The Curse of Sherlee Johnson #6

The Curse of Sherlee Johnson was an independent comic book series published in the early 1990s, emerging during a period of significant growth for small-press and creator-owned horror titles. Issue number six served as a continuation of the anthology-style storytelling that defined the series, which focused on gothic themes, psychological tension, and supernatural occurrences centered around the titular character.

The series was notable for its distinct underground aesthetic, which prioritized moody, atmospheric illustration over the polished, high-gloss house styles common in mainstream comics of the era. While the creative team sought to build a niche following through unsettling narrative arcs, the series remains a deep-cut obscurity, often appreciated today as a stylistic time capsule of the independent comics movement that flourished in the years preceding the industry's mid-nineties market correction.
