The Faraway Paladin Omnibus #2

The Faraway Paladin, originally known as Saihate no Paladin, began as a light novel series written by Kanata Yanagino and illustrated by Kususaga Rin. It debuted on the self-publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2015 before being acquired by Overlap Bunko. The narrative follows Will, a human child raised by three undead creatures in a city of the dead, blending traditional high-fantasy tropes with a contemplative exploration of faith and morality.

The omnibus edition serves as a collected printing of the light novel volumes, designed to provide a comprehensive reading experience for fans of the fantasy genre. The aesthetic of these collections honors Kususaga Rin’s delicate character designs, which were widely praised for their emotive quality. The series received significant critical acclaim for its grounded approach to growth and character development, eventually leading to a manga adaptation and an anime production that expanded its reach to an international audience.
