Ultraforce #10

Ultraforce #10 was published by Malibu Comics in 1995 as part of the Ultraverse line, a shared superhero universe that gained prominence in the mid-1990s for its grittier, more modern aesthetic compared to the industry titans. This specific issue arrived during a period of transition for the publisher, occurring shortly before Marvel Comics acquired Malibu in late 1994, which led to the eventual integration of the Ultraverse characters into Marvel's broader continuity.

The creative direction of the Ultraforce series focused on team dynamics within a world where superpowers were often treated as unpredictable and dangerous phenomena. While the series featured various rotating contributors, the art and narrative style were designed to appeal to readers seeking a departure from the traditional archetypes of the era, though the title remains most notable today as a significant artifact of the mid-90s speculative comic book boom and the subsequent consolidation of the independent comic industry.
