Vampire Dormitory #11

Vampire Dormitory, known in Japan as Vampire Danshiryo, is a shojo manga series created by Ema Toyama. The eleventh volume serves as a significant installment in the ongoing narrative, which follows Mito Yamamoto, a girl who disguises herself as a boy to live in a male dormitory populated by vampires. Toyama began serializing this work in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine in 2018, aiming to blend classic gothic romance tropes with modern comedic sensibilities.

The visual design of the series is defined by Toyama's expressive character work and sharp use of shojo-style aesthetics, which prioritize emotional resonance and dramatic page layouts. Volume 11 continues the artist's exploration of identity and complex interpersonal relationships, reflecting the series' evolution from a lighthearted gender-bender premise into a more suspenseful supernatural drama. It has been received as a popular title within the contemporary shojo landscape, maintaining a dedicated following among readers interested in romantic fantasy.
