Vampire Dormitory #10

Vampire Dormitory is a popular shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Ema Tōyama, serialized in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine starting in 2018. The series follows Mito, a girl who disguises herself as a boy to become a live-in maid for a vampire named Ruka. Volume 10 serves as a pivotal installment in this ongoing gothic romance, continuing Tōyama’s signature blend of supernatural fantasy and high-school drama.

Ema Tōyama is recognized for her ability to navigate complex character dynamics and trope-heavy narratives with a distinct, polished visual style. By the time of the tenth volume, the series had established a dedicated readership for its focus on gender-bending themes and the evolving power balance between its leads. The volume was produced during a period of sustained interest in the franchise, leading to its eventual adaptation into an anime series, further cementing its place in contemporary shōjo literature.
