Vampire Dormitory #12

Vampire Dormitory, created by manga artist Ema Toyama, began its serialization in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine in 2018. The series explores the romantic and supernatural dynamics between a girl disguised as a boy and a vampire, blending tropes of the shojo genre with gothic fantasy aesthetics. Ema Toyama is well-regarded for her ability to weave complex, character-driven narratives within structured magazine formats, and this series continues her established style of high-stakes, emotional storytelling.

Issue 12 serves as a pivotal installment in the series' long-running narrative arc. Like its predecessors, the design and presentation of this volume emphasize the series' distinctive cover art, which features Toyama’s polished, expressive character illustrations. Upon its release, the volume was received as a significant milestone by the series' dedicated readership, as it continues the development of the central characters and their precarious position within the dormitory setting.
