V・B・Rose #13

V.B. Rose, created by the manga artist Banri Hidaka, debuted in the shojo magazine Hana to Yume in 2004. The series centers on Ageha, a high school student who unexpectedly begins working at a boutique specializing in bridal wear. Volume 13 represents the late-stage progression of the narrative, following the series' hallmark blend of fashion-forward aesthetics and interpersonal drama that defined Hidaka’s contribution to mid-2000s Japanese romance manga.

The design of the series is celebrated for its intricate renderings of clothing and the delicate, expressive linework characteristic of Hidaka's style. As the story reached its conclusion in the final volumes, the artwork evolved to reflect the growing maturity of the characters. While the series maintains a niche following internationally, it is remembered by enthusiasts for its unique focus on the craftsmanship of dressmaking interwoven with the classic tropes of the josei and shojo genres.
