V・B・Rose #12

V・B・Rose, authored by Banri Hidaka, was serialized in the shōjo manga magazine Hana to Yume between 2002 and 2009. The series follows Ageha, a young woman who joins a bridal dressmaking studio run by her older sister's former flame. Volume 12 represents the penultimate installment of the series, published during the height of Hidaka's popularity as she explored themes of professional growth, found family, and the complexities of romantic reconciliation.

The aesthetic of the series is defined by Hidaka’s clean, expressive linework and meticulous attention to the intricate details of wedding couture. Like many titles in the Hana to Yume catalog, the design emphasizes emotional resonance and character-driven narratives, which helped the series maintain a loyal readership throughout its seven-year run. The cover art for volume 12 reflects the signature style of the era, focusing on the refined character designs and the romantic, fashion-forward tone that became a hallmark of the manga.
