WildC.A.T.s: Covert Action Teams #10

WildC.A.T.s: Covert Action Teams #10, released in 1994, emerged from the height of the Image Comics boom during the mid-nineties. The series was created by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi, serving as the flagship title for Lee's WildStorm imprint. This particular issue continued the complex, high-octane narrative centered on a secret war between the Kherubim and the Daemonites, maintaining the stylized, kinetic aesthetic that defined Lee's contributions to the comic book industry during this era.

The issue features artwork by Travis Charest, whose meticulous, detailed linework represented a stylistic evolution for the series. Charest's approach was highly regarded for its precision and depth, departing from the more exaggerated musculature prevalent in contemporary Image titles. The issue was received as a key example of the polished production values expected of the WildStorm line, successfully balancing intricate plot threads with the character-driven action that sustained the franchise's significant market presence throughout the 1990s.
