Wonder Woman #160

Wonder Woman #160 was published in February 1966 during the Silver Age of comic books. At this stage in the character's publication history, the series was undergoing a period of transition under the editorial direction of Robert Kanigher. The stories often leaned into the fantastical and campy elements that defined the mid-1960s DC Universe, a reflection of the era's lighthearted and often surreal approach to superhero narratives.

The issue features artwork by penciler Ross Andru and inker Mike Esposito, a team whose tenure on the title remains iconic for establishing a distinct visual language for Diana Prince during the decade. Their work on this issue follows the established aesthetic of the time, characterized by dynamic action panels and clear, illustrative storytelling designed to appeal to the broad audience of comic readers who were gravitating toward more vibrant, experimental superhero tropes.
