Working for God in a Godless World #5

Working for God in a Godless World was a series of religious-themed, underground-style comic tracts produced during the late 20th century. These publications were designed to navigate the perceived tension between evangelical faith and secular modern culture, employing a visual language that echoed the gritty, high-contrast aesthetic of the era's counter-culture comics to engage younger, disenchanted readers.

The creative direction focused on direct, provocative storytelling meant to challenge the reader's worldview through a theological lens. While the specific illustrator for issue number five remains largely uncredited in the wider public record, the series as a whole was received as an earnest attempt to modernize Christian evangelism, often found in church foyers and campus ministry distribution racks rather than commercial comic shops.
