X-Men: Age of Revelation Finale #1

X-Men: Age of Revelation Finale #1 was published by Marvel Comics in 2008 as the concluding chapter of the Age of Revelation storyline. This narrative arc was designed to revisit and provide closure to the alternate-reality premise established in the 1990s Age of Apocalypse event, which had become a fan-favorite milestone in X-Men history. The story explores the lingering consequences of the timeline shifts, serving as a thematic bridge for long-time readers interested in the structural history of the X-Men multiverse.

The creative team focused on blending the nostalgic aesthetic of 1990s comic book art with a modernized narrative tone. By revisiting the grittier, high-stakes environment of an alternate reality where Charles Xavier was never born, the issue sought to balance complex character dynamics with the explosive action typical of the era. Upon its release, it was received primarily as a collector's coda for enthusiasts of the Age of Apocalypse legacy, praised for its commitment to the established internal lore of that specific divergent timeline.
