Yozakura Quartet #17

Yozakura Quartet volume 17 is part of the long-running supernatural action manga series created by Suzuhito Yasuda. First serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius in 2006, the series follows the residents of Sakurashin, a town where humans and supernatural beings coexist. Volume 17 continues the narrative arc following the team's ongoing efforts to maintain order, characterized by Yasuda's signature dynamic action sequences and intricate character designs that have become a hallmark of the franchise.

The aesthetic of the series is heavily influenced by Yasuda's background as a professional character designer, often noted for a style that blends traditional manga sensibilities with a modern, sharp edge. By the time volume 17 was released, the series had established a dedicated following, bolstered by its transition into multiple anime adaptations. The volume reflects the artist's refined stylistic progression, maintaining the series' reputation for high-octane battles paired with introspective moments concerning the burden of duty in an urban fantasy setting.
