Infect

Infect was released as part of the Arakni Blitz Deck for the Flesh and Blood trading card game, designed by Legend Story Studios. The card was specifically crafted to support the playstyle of the Assassin class, focusing on the character Arakni, who utilizes contracts to manipulate the opponent's deck and gain tactical advantages. As an action card, its design emphasizes the high-risk, high-reward nature of the game’s combat system, where precise timing can turn the tide of a match.

The card features artwork consistent with the dark, thematic aesthetic of the Rathe setting, reflecting the shadowy nature of the Assassin class. As a common rarity card, Infect was intended to provide accessible utility to players picking up the pre-constructed Blitz deck, allowing them to engage with the game’s core mechanics immediately. It has been well-regarded within the community for its thematic synergy with Arakni's specific ability to filter and banish cards from the top of an opponent's library.
