Provenance

Where it came from

The Time Skippers equipment card is a functional component of the Mastery Pack Guardian set, released to provide players with accessible tactical tools during the mid-game phase. Designed as a common rarity item, it was intended to integrate seamlessly into diverse deck archetypes, offering utility without disrupting the competitive balance of higher-tier play.

The visual design of the card emphasizes a minimalist, functional aesthetic consistent with the utilitarian theme of the Mastery Pack Guardian series. Illustrators aimed to capture the essence of chronal manipulation through sparse, abstract geometric patterns, a decision that received modest but consistent appreciation from players who prioritize thematic cohesion and card readability over ornate artwork.
