Provenance

Where it came from

Time Skippers was introduced as part of the Monarch set for the Flesh and Blood trading card game. Developed by Legend Story Studios and released in 2021, the set was designed to explore the thematic conflict between light and shadow within the game's lore. As a common equipment card, Time Skippers was crafted to provide players with a functional, accessible tool for defensive gameplay, balancing the intricate mechanics of the set's hero classes.

The card’s design reflects the distinct high-fantasy aesthetic established by the game’s creative team, emphasizing functional utility within the Monarch meta. Like many common cards in the set, its art and mechanics were intended to support a broader drafting environment, allowing players to build strategies that reward incremental resource management. It has been well-regarded by the Flesh and Blood community as a solid, reliable piece of equipment for players navigating the game's rigorous combat system.
