Where it came from
The Wartune Herald (FAB035) was released as a promotional card for the Flesh and Blood trading card game, designed by Legend Story Studios. It emerged as part of the game’s early organized play support, intended to reward participants and incentivize engagement within the community during the title's foundational years. The card’s design reflects the high-fantasy aesthetic typical of the game, characterized by intricate, evocative art that emphasizes the gritty, tactical nature of the Flesh and Blood combat system.
The illustration was crafted to evoke the heraldic traditions found within the world of Rathe, serving as both a functional card and a collectible artifact of the game's expansion. Upon its release, the card was well-received by players for its utility in competitive play, particularly as a distinct foil or special-print promo that signifies participation in official events. It remains a sought-after piece for collectors who focus on the game’s limited-edition promotional history.
