Where it came from
Aguilar de Nerha, the protagonist of the 2016 film Assassin's Creed, was immortalized as a Funko Pop figure numbered 379 within the Pop! Movies series. The figure was released to coincide with the cinematic adaptation of the long-running Ubisoft video game franchise, capturing the character in his signature hooded robes and traditional hidden blade stance.
The design of the figure reflects the specific aesthetic of the film, which drew inspiration from the Spanish Inquisition setting of the game series. Funko aimed to translate the intricate textures of the film's costume design into their signature stylized vinyl form. Upon release, the figure served primarily as a collectible tie-in for fans of the Assassin's Creed property, fitting into the wider expansion of the Pop! brand into major motion picture merchandise.
