Alakazam

Alakazam, designated as number 855 in the Pop! Games series, was released by Funko as part of their long-running collaboration with The Pokémon Company. The figure captures the iconic Psychic-type Pokémon in its traditional pose, emphasizing its signature spoons and mustache, which have remained central to the character's design since its debut in the original Generation I games. This line represents a significant expansion of the Pop! brand into the world of Japanese gaming icons, aiming to offer stylized, collectible representations of fan-favorite creatures to a global audience.

The design follows Funko’s established aesthetic, characterized by a large, square-shaped head and simplified, de-scaled features intended to distill the complex character design of Alakazam into a minimalist vinyl form. Upon release, the figure was generally well-received by collectors of both Funko products and the broader Pokémon franchise, serving as a popular entry in a series that continues to categorize Pokémon by their National Pokédex order. The reception has been largely driven by the nostalgia associated with the franchise and the appeal of character-specific figures for display purposes.
