Where it came from
Alice Nelson, the iconic housekeeper from The Brady Bunch, was released by Funko as part of their Pop! Television line in 2018. This figure commemorates the character played by Ann B. Davis, who provided the grounding, maternal presence for the Brady family throughout the show's original run from 1969 to 1974. The design captures her signature blue uniform and apron, aiming to evoke the nostalgia of the classic sitcom's domestic setting.
The figure was created as part of a wave of merchandise intended to celebrate the enduring legacy of the franchise. Funko's design team focused on the specific aesthetic markers of mid-century television characters to appeal to multi-generational fans of the show. Upon its release, the figurine was well-received by collectors of pop culture memorabilia, recognized for its faithful, simplified rendering of a character widely considered the heart of the Brady household.
