Where it came from
The Blood Bag Pop! figure, numbered 510 in the Movies series, was produced by Funko as part of a tie-in collection for the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. Released to capture the aesthetic of George Miller’s high-octane post-apocalyptic world, the figure depicts the character of Max Rockatansky as he appears during his forced service as a universal blood donor to the War Boys of the Citadel. The design team focused on replicating the character’s restrained state, complete with his muzzle and hospital gown, emphasizing the visual grit that defined the film's unique aesthetic.
Upon its release, the figure was well-received by fans of the Mad Max franchise and collectors of cinematic memorabilia alike for its faithful, albeit stylized, representation of an iconic, harrowing scene. Funko's approach to the design prioritizes the character's signature silhouette while translating the intense atmosphere of the source material into the standard Pop! form factor. It remains a notable piece within the broader Movies collection, recognized for its specific attention to the film's distinct costume design.
