Bored Silly Kevin

Bored Silly Kevin was released in 2015 as part of the Funko Pop! Movies line, specifically tied to the promotional campaign for the animated feature film Minions. The figure captures the character Kevin during a moment of characteristic malaise, reflecting the film's playful focus on the chaotic yet often lethargic personalities of the Minion species. It was produced to capitalize on the massive global popularity of the Despicable Me franchise, targeting collectors who sought to capture specific comedic expressions of popular cinematic mascots.

The design follows the standard Funko Pop! aesthetic, characterized by a large, stylized head, simple black circular eyes, and a compact body frame. Created by the Funko design team, the figure was intended to balance the recognizable look of the Minions with the company's signature vinyl aesthetic. Upon its release, it became a staple in the expansive Funko catalog, appealing to both casual fans of the film series and dedicated collectors of the Pop! brand who favored the humorous pose over the more standard character iterations.
