Where it came from
Released in 2020 to coincide with the premiere of DreamWorks Animation's Trolls World Tour, this figure captures the character Branch as he appears in the musical sequel. The Pop! Movies line, produced by Funko, sought to capitalize on the film's vibrant aesthetic and the expansion of the franchise's musical universe, which introduced various genre-themed tribes of Trolls.
The design follows Funko's signature stylized approach, featuring the character's characteristic blue hair and vest. As part of a larger wave of collectibles intended for both younger fans and toy collectors, the figure reflects the studio's effort to standardize characters through the recognizable Pop! vinyl aesthetic, which prioritizes large, circular eyes and minimalist physical features to create a cohesive look across diverse cinematic properties.
