Cagney Carnation

The Cagney Carnation Pop! figure, released as part of the Funko Pop! Games series, is based on one of the iconic boss characters from the 2017 run-and-gun video game Cuphead. Developed by Studio MDHR, the game gained immense popularity for its unique visual style, which pays homage to the rubber hose animation techniques of the 1930s. Funko produced this figure to capture the game's distinct aesthetic, translating the character's aggressive, floral design into the signature oversized-head form factor that has become a staple of modern toy collecting.

The design of the figure reflects the character's antagonistic role in the game, featuring his toothy, menacing grin and long, vine-like arms. As part of the first wave of Cuphead merchandise, this figure was designed to appeal to both fans of the game's challenging gameplay and enthusiasts of its vintage animation-inspired art direction. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by the gaming community as an accessible way to display characters from an aesthetically ambitious title that had quickly established itself as a modern classic.
