Captain America [Black And White] /240

Released in 2011 as part of the initial wave of the Funko Pop! Marvel series, this Captain America figure, numbered 06, represented an early expansion of the line into iconic comic book properties. This specific black-and-white variant was a limited production run, with only 240 units created, positioning it as one of the most sought-after rarities from the early era of Pop! vinyl collecting.

The design follows the classic Pop! aesthetic established by Funko's designers, focusing on a stylized, minimalist interpretation of Steve Rogers in his traditional uniform. By stripping the figure of its usual colors, the design team emphasized the figure's silhouette and collectors' appeal as a monochromatic homage to the character’s Golden Age comic origins. It was received by the burgeoning collector community as a centerpiece for serious Marvel displays, marking a transition point where Funko items began to be viewed as limited-edition assets rather than mass-market toys.
