Where it came from
The Cinderella (Dancing) (Glitter) figure was released as part of the extensive Funko Pop! Disney series, cataloged as number 222. It captures the iconic scene from the 1950 animated film where Cinderella dances with Prince Charming in her magical gown. The design team at Funko incorporated a glitter finish to emphasize the ethereal, sparkling quality of the dress as depicted in the movie's transformation sequence.
This variant was released during a period when Funko was expanding its Disney presence, focusing on specific cinematic moments rather than just character portraits. While the standard version of number 222 features a matte finish, the glitter variant was produced to appeal to collectors seeking a more stylized and visually distinct representation of the character. It remains a staple of Disney-themed collections due to its recognition of one of the studio's most beloved film milestones.
