Cinnamoroll [Hot Topic]

Cinnamoroll debuted as part of the Sanrio Pop! vinyl figure line, released to commemorate the enduring popularity of the character first introduced in 2001. As a core member of the Sanrio family, Cinnamoroll—the white puppy with long ears and a tail resembling a cinnamon roll—was selected for the Pop! aesthetic to appeal to the brand’s global fanbase. This specific figure, numbered 80, features the character in its classic pose and signature color palette, designed to integrate seamlessly with Funko’s minimalist, oversized-head stylization.

The figure was produced as a specialty release for Hot Topic, a retailer known for its long-standing partnership with both Sanrio and Funko. The design process focused on capturing the soft, whimsical essence of the character while adhering to the standard Funko build, which emphasizes large, dark eyes and a simplified form. Upon its release, it was well-received by collectors of the Sanrio franchise, who valued the figure for its ability to represent the character's gentle aesthetic within the high-contrast display style of the Pop! series.
