Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Rides series, this figure commemorates the 1989 classic film National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It depicts the iconic wood-paneled station wagon overflowing with the Griswold family's oversized Christmas tree, a visual centerpiece that captures the chaotic spirit of the holiday comedy. The design aims to replicate the frantic energy of Clark Griswold's quest for the perfect family Christmas, featuring the signature oversized aesthetic synonymous with the Pop! line.
The figure draws heavily from the film's cult status, which has cemented it as a perennial holiday favorite. Funko's approach to the Rides series emphasizes dynamic storytelling, allowing collectors to display the vehicle as an extension of the character. Upon release, it was well-received by fans of the franchise who appreciated the attention to detail regarding the film's most recognizable prop, effectively serving as a nostalgic tribute to the Griswold family's enduring cinematic legacy.
