Where it came from
The House Lighting Scene Pop! Deluxe Moment was released as part of the Funko Pop! Deluxe line, which focuses on recreating iconic, multi-character dioramas from popular culture rather than single-figure releases. This particular piece commemorates a central gag from the 1989 film National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, specifically capturing Clark Griswold's exhaustive and ultimately disastrous efforts to illuminate his home for the holiday season.
The design of this item features a miniature replica of the Griswold house exterior coupled with a Pop! figure of Clark, emphasizing the slapstick aesthetic of the film. It was produced for fans of the holiday classic to serve as a collectible centerpiece that encapsulates the movie's themes of comedic familial chaos and festive obsession. Like many items in the Deluxe line, it received positive reception among collectors for its nostalgic value and ability to represent a complete movie moment in a compact display.
