Count Chocula (Blue)

Count Chocula, the mascot of the chocolate-flavored cereal first launched by General Mills in 1971, represents a landmark in the history of breakfast marketing. Created alongside Franken Berry, the character was designed to capitalize on the popularity of classic horror tropes, bringing them into the kitchen to appeal to children. The design of the Funko Pop figure, released as the inaugural piece in the Pop! Ad Icons line, captures the classic aesthetic of the vampire character, featuring his iconic brown cape, widow's peak, and formal attire, which have remained staples of the mascot's branding for decades.

The blue variant of this figure is a rare chase edition that stands out from the standard brown color scheme. While the original cereal mascot is famously associated with chocolate, these stylized collectible variants were introduced to cater to the growing community of toy collectors who value exclusive colorways. The design stays faithful to the Funko Pop signature oversized head and minimalist features, representing a convergence of 1970s advertising nostalgia and modern vinyl toy culture.
