Count Chocula (Glow in the Dark) (Freddy Funko)

The Count Chocula Glow-in-the-Dark Freddy Funko figure was released as a promotional item for the San Diego Comic-Con, a signature event that has transformed into the primary stage for Funko's most sought-after limited edition collectibles. This figure reimagines the classic General Mills mascot, Count Chocula, by blending the character's aesthetic with the likeness of Freddy Funko, the brand's own mascot, who is famously depicted dressed as other licensed icons to celebrate pop culture history.

Designed within the signature Funko Pop! aesthetic—characterized by oversized heads and minimalist features—this variant was produced specifically to feature glow-in-the-dark properties, a popular stylistic choice among collectors that adds a tactile element to the display. The design serves as a cross-branding exercise between General Mills' nostalgic breakfast cereals and the modern collectibility of the Funko brand, and it was received by the community as a premium piece for high-end mascot and cereal-themed collections.
