Where it came from
Cousin Itt, designated as number 814 in the Pop! Television series, was released by Funko to coincide with their broader expansion of The Addams Family license. The character, originally created for the 1964 television series, is defined by his floor-length hair, bowler hat, and dark sunglasses. Funko’s design team aimed to capture this iconic, minimalist silhouette while adhering to the stylized, large-headed aesthetic that characterizes the entire Pop! line.
The figure was released as part of a wave that celebrated the enduring cultural legacy of Charles Addams' morbid, macabre family. By focusing on the distinctive visual shorthand of the character—specifically the fringe covering his face—the designers successfully translated a live-action costume into a simplified vinyl form. Upon release, the item was well-received by fans of the franchise, serving as a nostalgic centerpiece for collectors of classic television memorabilia.
