Crossbones (Civil War) (Unmasked)

The Crossbones (Unmasked) Pop! figure, numbered 139, was released by Funko in 2016 as part of the Marvel line tied to the theatrical launch of Captain America: Civil War. This specific variant depicts Brock Rumlow in his battle-worn, unmasked state, capturing the grit of his confrontation with Steve Rogers during the film's opening sequence in Lagos. The design choice reflects the studio's desire to capture character-specific milestones, moving beyond standard hero suits to highlight the film's primary antagonist figures.

This figure was a significant entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe collection, designed to appeal to collectors who favor the realistic, live-action aesthetics of the films over the stylized comic book interpretations. While the broader Civil War wave was received well for its commitment to the film's ensemble cast, the unmasked variant became a sought-after piece for completionists. Its design emphasizes the scarred, weathered look of the character, a stylistic departure that cemented its status as a notable addition to the broader Funko Marvel catalog.
