Iron Man (Civil War)

Released in 2016 as part of the Funko Pop! Marvel line, this figure commemorates the release of the film Captain America: Civil War. The design reflects Iron Man's Mark 46 armor as seen during the conflict, characterized by its sleek, reinforced plating and iconic red and gold color scheme. As a cornerstone of the Marvel Cinematic Universe merchandising initiative, this figure was designed to appeal to both casual fans and long-term collectors of the burgeoning Funko aesthetic.

The figure was produced during a period of rapid expansion for the Pop! brand, where Funko emphasized distinct numbering to create a sense of completion for collectors. The design team sought to distill the complex, high-tech look of Tony Stark's cinematic suit into the brand's signature stylized form, featuring the oversized head and simplified, de-detailed body that defines the series. Upon release, it was widely available at mass-market retailers, serving as a staple representation of the film's central ideological clash between Iron Man and Captain America.
