Dale

Dale, one half of the iconic chipmunk duo, was introduced by Disney in 1943. This specific Funko Pop! figure, numbered 1194, is part of the extensive Disney Mickey and Friends series. The design mirrors the classic aesthetic of the characters, featuring Dale’s distinctive red nose and smaller gap between his teeth compared to his counterpart, Chip. The figure was produced to celebrate the enduring popularity of the characters who have appeared in hundreds of animated shorts and television programs over the decades.

Funko’s design team maintains a consistent visual language across the Disney line, prioritizing the recognizable silhouettes and expressions that have defined the characters since the mid-20th century. By capturing Dale in his standard pose, the company aims to appeal to both long-time Disney animation enthusiasts and contemporary collectors. Upon release, this figure was received as a standard addition to the vast Mickey and Friends collection, serving as a functional piece for those seeking to complete their sets of classic cartoon pairings.
