Dark Flash

The Dark Flash Funko Pop, numbered 1338 in the Pop! Movies line, was released in 2023 to coincide with the theatrical debut of the Warner Bros. film The Flash. This figure captures the film's primary antagonist, a distorted and vengeful temporal variant of Barry Allen, characterized by its jagged, organic-looking suit and skeletal aesthetic. The design reflects the high-stakes, multiversal conflict depicted in the movie, translating the cinematic creature's unsettling appearance into the signature stylized, large-headed vinyl format.

The design process for this figure focused on replicating the intricate, debris-laden texture of the Dark Flash’s costume, which was conceptualized by the film's production design team to evoke a sense of decay and temporal instability. Upon release, the figure was marketed toward collectors of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) series and fans of the Flash franchise. It represents a specific moment in the studio's broader strategy to release merchandise tied to major superhero tentpole films, serving as a physical memento of the movie's unique visual interpretation of the character.
